This was a trip to the Mecum Auto Auction that was in Portland, Oregon. Mecum allows for both spectators and bidders, so you can travel to their auctions to look at cars or to buy a car. We just came to look and watch, not buy one. We came down Friday and left Sunday morning, but we only went to the auction on Saturday, since it includes Friday also.
There was a fair amount of nice cars here, along with some that made you realize why they were being sold at action. The highest selling car was around $250,000 dollars, with the rest not reaching that type of prices. I would for sure do one of these auctions again, especially if I were looking for a classic car. There is a fair amount of these at these auctions, and depending on the car you can pick them up for a decent price also.
