Fort Flagler State Park (2021 Version)

This was a mid-August trip to Fort Flagler State Park. There is another post from 2019 from when we tent camped here. This trip we took our truck camper up and stayed in the RV loop down near the beach. We come here fairly often and always enjoy our time here. The tent loop is different than the RV loop, as staying here in a tent (or off grid in an RV), you get a little bit more private sites surrounded in trees. The walk to the trails are about the same, but you are closer to the beach, with beachfront sites, in the lower loop. The lower loop has hookups compared to none in the upper loop (which wont do much for a tent camper).

I only took a few pictures while here. It had been fairly warm in the south sound days prior (mid-90’s for most of the work week leading up to the weekend), but was nice and cool (low to mid 70’s) up on the strait where the park is located. There was some wildfire smoke though that blew in mid week prior to our trip, which was only noticeable by looking off into the distance. It got some good sunset pictures though.
