This trip was up to Port Ludlow, Washington. Originally, this trip was going to include Mount Walker, Rocky Brooks Falls, and Potlatch State Park, but going up to Mount Walker, my car broke down half way up to the top. So, on a steep, narrow, forest service road with a steep drop off on one side, I had to glide my car back down to Highway 101 so it could be towed home. It ended up my transmission was low on fluid due to a leak, and it must have been the pressure of going up this mountain that finally worsened it.
But, Port Ludlow was worth the trip, although the day did not end well. I also stopped at Ludlow Falls along with the marina and hotel area and got some good pictures. I did eventually make it to the other planned stops, all later in summer of 2019. In the end, I guess they were just not meant to be that day.
