Grayland Beach State Park

This is a state park located just south of Westport, Washington, located in Grayland, Washington. It is a smaller state park, but is kept up nicely. We stayed here in a yurt, which was clean and provided us with more than enough shelter. Staying here in early January, it was warm, although do not expect the same type of warmth a house has. The small electric heater does good enough, but there is some heat loss. If you get cold easy, bring extra blankets.

For winter campers, or when Washington has a wet summer, keep in mind that this park has a big flooding problem. Around our site, a few other campsites were fully flooded, and oddly our firepit was flooded. Other areas of the park are almost impassible due to the water. Keep this in mind while booking sites, and possibly if in the area, make a trip to the park or even give them a call before booking a site.
