In early June 2023 we took a trip down to Portland for the NASCAR Xfinity race held here. We took our travel trailer down and stayed trackside from Thursday, and left Sunday morning. The Xfinity series ran Saturday afternoon, and an semi-pro Miata series and Arca West ran on Friday. The race was good and the weather was also great, sunny and warm the whole weekend.

We stayed out in-between turns four through six (we could see all of them). We could kind of see start finish, but could not see the action over there. Being a road course, the radio broadcast came in handy so we knew what sort of was going on throughout the track. Cole Custer ended up winning the race.
