This trip was to Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend, Washington. I did a day trip here in 2019, so this is the more in-depth post mentioned there. The park is a hair run down, but is not any worse or better than how Fort Flagler looks. It is close to Port Townsend, so if you are looking to stay at one of the fort parks in the area but need to be close to a town, this is the park to choose. There are many great miles of trails and beach to explore, so you can have a fun and full adventurous weekend here.
